We have been designing and fabricating both custom stained and leaded glass door-panels. We either build the doors [usually in Mahogany or oak and design the type of solid door or pair of doors with different raised panels]or use an existing door or set of doors that the client may have,and incorporate our glass into their door.
Next we have the doors finished in a stain ,shellach,or paint whichever the client prefers.
We either design a classic leaded or stained glass panel for each door or retro-fit antique glass , or a combination of antique and reto-fit design.[meaning that we will use existing stained-glass or leaded glass panels or parts of windows in our stock and put new borders or complete a pattern etc.]
The other way to go is for us to work with the client,decorator,architect or contractor on new designs. We will do preliminary drawings and then more finished designs as the job progresses.
Pricing for any custom work depends on quality,complexity of design,and materials. Labor for constructing the doors and the glass portions are priced differently.
